Jacob Rodriguez Rivera
Brother-in-law of Moses Lopez. 
The United Company of Spermaceti Candlers, one of America’s first cartels, was established to control the cost and distribution of the product. Aaron Lopez was involved as well as Rivera and his partner Henry Collins. 
In 1759 acting in trust for the Newport congregation acquired land on Griffin Street (now Touro) for a synagogue. 
His daughter married Aaron Lopez in 1763. 
Also moved to Leicester, Massachusetts during the Revolution.
